Just over a week ago, we visited the Civil War Museum in New Market and boy, were we impressed! With exhibits on the entire Civil War (and of course lots of attention on the events that took place in Virginia), there was plenty to see, learn and ponder. The Hall of Valor, where the museum is located, is a monument dedicated to military service of young people. The museum offers guided tours, day camps, films, and special activities throughout the year. Just check out their full calendar!
With admission rates of just $4-$10, you can’t miss this Shenandoah attraction. Complete your historical tour with a visit to the Virginia Military Institute museum in Lexington. Here’s what we saw…you’ll have to visit our facebook page to find out what’s in each picture!
