If you haven’t already realized there’s a whole lot of excitement and talent to be found in this serene place, here’s another reminder. We recently visited artist Pat Buckley Moss’s museum and gallery in Waynesboro, about 20 minutes from Alpine Hideaway Cottages.
Moss is one of America’s most popular and recognized artists, and since the early 1960’s, she has found inspiration and much of her iconography in the Shenandoah Valley. The museum and gallery are open daily and admission is free.

We will also be launching a monthly trivia contest on our facebook page soon: Find the answers to our questions hidden in our blog, respond correctly via our facebook page, and the grand prize winner will win a beautiful P. Buckley Moss print of his/her choice! More details to come…
