April 21-24 are Wool Days at Staunton’s Frontier Culture Museum. Attendees can see live sheep shearing, wool carding and spinning, not to mention adorable baby lambs. Wool days runs from 9am to 5pm each day.
Sunspots Studios in Staunton has what it takes to impress discerning artists, particularly once a year at its Hot Glass Festival (April 24-25)! This amazing weekend features hot glass artistry in the form of live glass blowing demonstrations and skill contests, flame working, bead making, sand casting and slumping. A Pandora jewelry trunk show will also be held during festival hours.
…And don’t miss The Theatre at Lime Kiln, whose 2010 season has just begun! This beautiful performing arts venue built into the ruins of a lime kiln presents a wide array of live music and theater.
