If you forgot to book your Valentine’s Day weekend at Alpine Hideaway, you might have missed out on the President’s Day celebration at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Museum in Staunton today. But don’t dismay; you can visit this family-friendly attraction Monday through Saturday from and Sundays from throughout February. (Also Monday through Saturday and Sunday March-October.) The Library offers a tour of Wilson’s birthplace, a pre-Civil War manse and the WoodrowWilsonMuseum where seven galleries tell his inspiring story as a professor, president, and peacemaker. Children will especially enjoy the interactive Kids’ Corner, seeing the president’s Pierce-Arrow limousine, and strolling through the boxwood garden. Admission is $3 for children, $5 for students, $12 for adults, and $10 for AAA members/seniors.
